Ready to Look and Feel Amazing!

I am 30 years old and really getting tired of fighting my weight. In 2008, I was at my heaviest of 158 pounds. I could not go to the grocery store without getting winded. After almost five years, I finally reached my goal weight in 2013 and even got down to 118 pounds. I loved how I looked and felt and I was active. I had a very physically demanding job as a lineman at a family owned airfield and during the summer I was running around fueling airplanes and helicopters and sweating. In May ...

After almost five years, I finally reached my goal weight in 2013 and even got down to 118 pounds. I loved how I looked and felt and I was active. I had a very physically demanding job as a lineman at a family owned airfield and during the summer I was running around fueling airplanes and helicopters and sweating. In May 2013 I ended up with a slipped disc, pinched nerve and a crocked vertebrae that took me off the line and put me behind a desk. In less than I year I put back on 20 pounds. I am not happy with how I look and now that I have entered my 30s I know that I will have one hell of a time getting this weight off. I know that I am at a good and healthy weight but I want to look in the mirror and be happy!

My Goals:
My biggest goal is to quit with the emotional eating. I also need to make sure that I keep track of everything I eat and drink and I need to make sure that I am doing my weight training 3 days a week and I have no problem with cardio 5 - 6 days a week!

My Program:
TBD...started a new job a few weeks ago and will be moving in two weeks. Once we move, I will be utilizing the gym and yoga studio at our apartment complex.

Personal Information:
I grew up south of Seattle. I graduated high school in 2002 and joined the Coast Guard a couple months later. I spent the next 5 years living in San Francisco, Honolulu, New Orleans, Elizabeth City, and Houston. I got a medical discharge in October 2007. I have been married and divorced and am currently dating the most amazing and wonderful man that I have ever met in my entire life!

Other Information:
I love the Harry Potter series and the Twilight Saga. The Hunger Games series is great as is the Divergent series...oh and Shades of Grey...not to be confused with 50 Shades of Grey. I love to read period. I love music and writing poetry. I love horror movies and being scared. There's nothing like being surrounded by great friends, good BBQ, great music, and a huge bonfire!

Hey There, nice to meet a local "sparkie". I'm not sure about zumba -- a back fusion and recent ankle surgery has me moving again, but not anything that's high impact-- I doubt I'll ever be able to run again, which was how I always keep the weight off in my younger years. Do they have a low impact of Zumba? It certainly sounds fun. I am a big hiker. Have you ever been to the 1- saturday/month health walk events in our area? I thought I might give that a try in October.
