I'm ready for many new things in 2014, and my health and fitness will be just one of my personal goals....so, new goals for the new year, even if I am starting a little late! Last year I started my weight loss journey (yet again) and plan to achieve it this year.

Friends recommend SP as a great community and support system. I'm hoping this will work for me as well. I have a renewed interest in blogging and I'm looking forward to reading about everyone's road to their own personal goals.

My Goals:
1/13: Ideally, I am shooting to lose the 50 lbs I have been struggling with since my youngest (this is pathetic, but he is now 11) was born.

It's time to get it gone!

Highest weight July 2013 248 lbs. Not very pretty.

Start weight for Spark: 228 lbs. January 2014.

Start weight on Isagenix: 211 lbs. April 2014.

One-der-land: 199.9 lbs. May 2014

Pre-pregnancy weight (for third child): 187.4 June 2014

June 2014: Also reduced my weight loss goal from 180 lbs to 160 lbs. I realize 180 lbs is just not enough to have a healthy BMI and I am still uncomfortable with the extra weight.

My Program:
1/14: Reduced carb intake, walking daily with a view to join a gym and start weight training to tone.

4/14: Isagenix program 30 days. Pushing to get into one-der-land now.

5/14: Continue Isagenix for a second month. Started kickboxing once a week and upped my walking distance to a minimum of 5 miles 3x a week.

Personal Information:
From Central NJ for my entire life, but have been lucky enough to travel the world several times over.

3 children, older than I'd like to admit, all boys.

Other Information:
Plans to be as sexy as my Sexy board on Pinterest!

Um...I had to friend you, well, because that invisible crown thing was emoticon

I don't know you from Adam, and this whole friending because I *had* to may be a mistake. But that is seriously awesome.

And now I have to go pokin' in your business to find out who I just friended. emoticon

Yeah - it's fun to be on FB... that way I know you can't really escape even when you take a break from Spark!!!

I'm pretty much making a shake for breakfast and dinner (unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 frozen banana, scoop of whey protein, 2 tbs natural peanut butter, handful of kale)... then for lunch I eat a meal and try to include a salad. Since Ed & I started doing p90x when he gets home from work it kills my appetite... so the shake is earlier and then I don't have the desire to eat in the evening. It's a win/win!

You did great with the Isagenix before ~ but it was kind of tough, wasn't it?

Discipline is choosing between what you want now and what you want most.

You can do it friend! I'm here for you to cheer for you along the way!

Happy Sunday to ya! It's a beautiful day here so I'm guess it is for you too :) Did you have a nice 4th? We had our fireworks at our lake last night. That was fun. Got a walk in this morning & started laundry again - guess it will be a day of chores, but enjoying some sunshine too! Have a great week!

"If I could give one tip for people - it's not an exercise or nutrition regimen. It's to walk your talk and believe in yourself, because at the end of the day, the dumbbell and diet don't get you in shape. It's your accountability to your word."
