I am 32 years old and I figured this is high time to get real with myself and to live up to my potential in all areas of my life.

I gained 70 extra pounds during the past seven years (pretty rough years these were!) due to a combination of factors including emotional/stress eating. I've lost some weight before using Sparkpeople.com then gained it all back plus more! Yikes!!

I make the commitment to myself and those who love me to be healthy and happy finally. It takes a lot of emotional energy to "lose weight" and right now that's energy I don't have. My new focus is to do some fun cool stuff that makes me feel happy while making me healthy in the process.

Have a great day and remember that we have a part of God in all of us! Let's live up to that :-)

My Goals:
Current goals:
Get 1000 fitness minutes in October 2012.
Finish my statistics by November 14, 2012.
Lose at least 2 inches by the end of October.
Get my waist:hip ratio down from .804 to .79 by the end of October 2012.
Find out the caloric value of foods I eat regularly (a lot of it isn't available on this site) by the end of October 2012.

My Program:
Reduce the sugary beverages in my diet to no more than three a week.
Write about negative feelings in my journal instead of snacking.
Exercise must be fun- dancing, walking, rebounding, yoga, tae-bo, stability ball.
Strength training- using resistance bands right now.
Know the caloric values of foods I eat regularly and watch my portion sizes.
Improve my self-image and self-esteem.
Get 7-8 hours of sleep.
Drink 8 cups of water daily.
Use this site daily.
Celebrate my success.
Reach out to more people.
Have faith and pray!
