Raspberry's Story

The raspberry is my favorite fruit, hence my username :)

This is not my first time working on bettering the ol' body, but this is the most serious.......you see, as someone looking for work, when one cannot fit well into ..... sigh ....... interview-friendly attire, well......this was my OMG moment! (Why, oh WHY are SUITS so important - gad, I HATE them!)

I have a lot on my plate right now, so I may not have a significant social presence here for now......so, I'll ...

My Goals:
A better body and overall health - and a neater appearance in suits would be a good thing, too (as much as I HATE suits) :)

My Program:
I restarted my journey using parts of Spark in conjunction with a recently completed workplace health challenge program - this seems to have done the trick so far, sooooooo - I'm crossing the ol' fingers for the future!

Other Information:
Just trying to keep in mind that old saying - "one day at a time"!

Thanks for the well wishes for my mom! I called her this morning and she's hurting a little bit and doesn't feel good today, the weekend wore her out - hoping with my sister managing her diet she'll be back to feeling okay here soon. I did ok today, stayed within my calorie range, I only walked for 30 minutes and I was worn out but I'm going to try to get to sleep as soon as I get home from work (I work 3rd shift) and wake up around 4 and either go to the gym or go for a long walk, depending on how hot it is.

emoticon Hi, Raspberry! I am not a new member, having been here for a few years (and off and on since SP first started!). I have been at maintenance for about 15 months after losing 130+#. The "Poundage Plan" is my own fitness plan, which is why you haven't heard of it. emoticon
