From couch potato to fit in 2013. Lost 80 pounds from December 2012 to December 10, 2013. Lost additional 10 pounds by mid-February 2014 for a total of 90 pounds.

2014 goal: stronger, faster, better! Achieve balance - give myself permission to be less than perfect from time to time. Maintain my weight within 5 pounds of goal. Run a half marathon.

My Program:
I run, lift weights,& do exercise videos. I do a lot of cardio to cope with migraines. I try to use the plate method - half non-starchy vegetables, 1/4 protein, and 1/4 starch. I limit sugar because it aggravates my fibromyalgia.

Saw your post on maintainers daily check in. I did my first HM with my longest run being 10 miles. If you want to try it, I think you can do the full 13.1.

Go for it if you want to!
