Changing a few things to accommodate my growing belly!

It took me 3 years to lose the weight i gained with my daughter who was born in 2005. I didnt maintain it once my husband returned from a deployment in 07. Lost the 30lbs I gained this year, and now I am pregnant (which we planned). I am due May 1st, but I have a previous history of preterm labor. With this pregnancy, I'm definately a lot better at eating than I was 5 years ago. I also exercise, which i didnt do then either.

I've been a member since Feb 20 2009, weighing in at 188. ...

I've been a member since Feb 20 2009, weighing in at 188. My highest weight was 190 on February 14th.

These below were my weigh-ins this year before I became pregnant.

On March 20, 2009, I weighed in at 177. * -11lbs*
On April 3, 2009, 176.4 *-0.6lbs* went to
to see husband in Maryland.
Treadmill in hotel was broken,
and tried to eat healthy :(
On April 17, 2009, I weighed in at 171.4. * -5 lbs!!!! *
May 1, 2009, I weighed in at 169.4. * -2lbs * (down another half from my waist and another half in from my hips too!)
May 15, 2009, I weighed in at 167.4. * -2lbs * Loving this!
May 29, 2009, I weighed in at 163.8. * -3.6lbs * (down another half inch in waist and in hips!)
June 12, 2009, I weighed in at 164. * + .2lbs * ( down an inch in my hips, and a half in in my waist )
June 26, 2009, I weighed in at 164. (up .5 in in waist and up .5 in in hips)
July 10, 2009, I weighed in at 160.2. * - 3.8 * (down one inch in my waist and a half in on my hips)

These are the weigh-ins during my pregnancy.

I do not want to gain more than 20lbs!

Sept. 4th *********** 6 weeks ****** 164.4
Sept. 17th********** 8 weeks ****** 164.2
Oct. 2nd************ 10 weeks******164.4
Oct. 16th*********** 12 weeks******

Total of 1st trimester : i didnt finish this but i didnt gain any the first trimester..

Second trimester is still going on and so far (as of 1-14-10 and 25 wks) i weigh 187.4.. I've gained a total of 23lbs.. i stopped going to the gym at about 13 weeks so i started losing muscle during the 3 months i stayed away from the gym.. Now I am back at the gym, and feeling better. Hoping to be able to stay in the gym until i have to stop! Dr wants me to gain between 25-30lbs. I have 15 weeks left, so im hoping i wont gain more than 15lbs in that time ( really dont want more than 7lbs)!!

My Goals:

To workout 3-4 times a week, an hour each time..

My Program:
My program during the time being is attending Zumba on Tuesday and Thursday.

Friday nights I attend Bodyattack and then my fav BodyFlow.

I am 24 yrs old, married to my high school sweetheart/soldier since November 2002. We have one child who will be 5 in March.

My babyfit username is the same as my sparkpeople username. I have been on that site ever since I found out I was pregnant. For a while I wasn't using it too much just cause I wasn't really getting on the computer at all due to the fact that I was so tired and didn't have much energy to do.. much of anything. Now, I'm getting some of that energy back (kind of) I do get online and do all that sort of stuff I plan to start tracking my food today. I know that sounds funny because how much energy does it take to sit on the computer but, when your sick and tired you don't feel like doing anything but sleeping. Today isn't such a great day, I woke up so nausea's it was all I could do to get my nausea pill and thank god it worked before I threw up! I wasn't exercising that much in the beginning due to not feeling well and I think that's why I gained so much. The fact that I am exercising now and making a conscious effort to eat right that my weight gain will slow down. I don't think that 10lbs is bad at all but, I don't want to start gaining anymore than that at a faster rate. I really just want my tummy to grow not the rest of me! Oh, I have a question since this isn't your first pregnancy what did you do for stretch marks?... I'm using palmers coco butter for stretch marks with the picture of the pregnant woman on the front, lol. It stinks though, or I think it does.. so using it bothers me but I do anyway. What did you use, if you used anything?.. Also, they have something called "Bio-Oil" for after pregnancy that helps smooth them out or something so that you can't really see them. I don't know why but, I'm really worried about stretch marks. I know I'm doomed to get them but, is there anything I can do to prevent from getting too many or something? I know they say gaining too much weight too quickly is how you can really get stretch marks so I'm being careful not to gain too much too fast. Then they say exercise can help with stretch marks... I dunno, tell me what you think.
