Update May 5, 2013:
All is going well. I started exercising and have the perfect routine that is very flexible. I do what I can and don't let anything bother me if I have to miss a day or two. Since March 31st, 2013, I have lost 11.4lbs 15inches.. This is only a small portion of the large amount of weight I will be shedding all year long.. This is only the beginning. I have the rest of my life ahead :)

Update January 21, 2013:
I have been lost for a good while. My brain and body have not been one for a while even if I was exercising. I discovered I was merely forcing myself to exercise and eat a certain way. Now I have chosen to eat healthy for me. I need to be healthy and live a long life for my children and my amazing husband. I quit smoking in June of 2012, and have not had one craving since. I quit for me. Not anyone else. And with this new journey, I am doing everything for me. After all, it is my life. I want to be happy. I am eating more fruit, more protein, less processed carbs, less fat. Not because I choose to, but its because I am watching what I eat and caring what goes into my body. I have no goals for this new year. I am just living life one day at a time.

Update: August 20th, 2012
I felt a need to update my introduction. I have signed up for the Missouri Tough Mudder on October 13th and my hotel room is booked. No going back now! lol

Also, I am doing the Insanity challenge and am currently on Day 22 of the 60 day program. I love Beachbody and their fitness programs. No need to pay gym fees, daycare fees or gas/driving time. I do it all before my daughter has to wake up before school. I did the Turbofire Challenge and won the 90 day challenge out of my group. I only lost 1/2lb but I won because I lost over 13inches all over! I was a size 14/15 and was a size 12 after!

Because of my love and appreciation for Beachbody, in addition to helping others succeed in their journey, I am now an official Independent Team Beachbody Coach!

My goal of getting down to 160 is still in progress. With these two programs I have done, I'm losing more inches and gained more muscle which is why my weight hasnt really moved. I dont mind one bit because i can see the muscles in my body.

And a big thanks to Sparkpeople! I have been using the calorie counter, recipes, and other articles to aid in my lifestyle change. All of this has been since 2009 and I am very appreciative!

Spring 2012:
Here I go again. I completed the St. Judes half marathon December 3rd, 2011. I finished at 2:59. It was very motivational and an experience i will remember always. I have some new goals this year

My goals for 2012:
To become a Turbokick Instructor
Complete the Missouri Tough Mudder in October
Weigh 160lbs by the end of 2012.

I feel these are well achievable. I am not adding any supplements or changing my eating habits too much. Living a healthy lifestyle should not involve taking a pill everyday. If I eat the right way, and workout, then I know I can keep the pounds off naturally. Its going to be a long process as I have 40lbs to lose to be at my goal, and just 14lbs to be at 25 BMI. Currently I am at 28.8% body fat.

I am also running a mile atleast 3 days a week. I am working myself up to more miles but will take my time with it.
