After years of struggling with weight, eating disorder, yo-yo dieting, shame and embarassment, I am finally READY2THRIVE!! So excited about the changes I've been making and how I'm feeling about myself.
I want to be strong, fit and filled with vibrant energy. I want to be able to romp on the floor with my grandkids (if I'm lucky to have them someday) instead of sit on the couch and watch them play.
For exercise, I work with a trainer 2-3 times a week, do yoga 2 times a week, play tennis once a week, do the elliptical/treadmill 2-3 times a week, and track my steps aiming for 10,000 a day. For food, I eat every 3-4 hours, include protein and complex carb at each snack and meal, limit fats, soda and sodium, and drink lots of water.
Currently live in San Pablo and work in San Francisco.
Love to sing, dance, paint, hike, play tennis, read autobiographies, watch comedies, learn, hang with friends, discuss politics, philosophy, religion, social issues, etc.
