I had a stroke in February '14, and after being hospitalized for 4 months, and doing intensive rehab...for everything...physical, speech and occupational...I am very, very lucky...the after effects were not too bad.... I walk, speak and move normally...but I really got horrible damage with my brain.... and it affected my short-term memory...As for work I have been told I won't be able to return to my previous work which was in Finances because of the damages....So I am currently on Social Security disability....
I just gotten back to driving October 2015... I passed my driving assessment and now I can drive! Whoa... so wonderful to be able to drive again! I joined a gym and I'm going to the gym every day! I love fitness classes and they offer a variety at my gym... I go to both morning and evening classes to keep busy and to stay healthy.
To continue being healthy and happy!
1. Get in an exercise everyday
2. Drink 8 glasses of water a day,
3. Sleep 8 hours!
4. Chew 30 times...and take at least 30 minutes for each meal...

Diagnosed with pre-Diabetes.. which means...I'm not Diabetic ... but close! I need to keep an eye on my sugar level and keep it under control by diet and exercise. It's been thought that one of the reason for my stroke was caused by my pre-diabetes...
Interest include watching foreign movies, yoga, learning to live better!
Life is incredibly short...live, enjoy and do the best every moment that's left.

Life is like having a cup of coffee
You sit by the window, lift the cup, you take a sip...
only to realize you forgot to add sugar..
Too lazy to go for it,
you somehow struggle to finish the bitter drink.
Afterwards you discover undissolved sugar at the bottom.
That's how life is....we are sometimes lazy and blinded
to value what is around us, and live in bitterness...
Look around......maybe the sweetness of life

Ideas for your Weekend
Friday---Call a friend you haven't talked to in awhile, see a movie, make some hot chocolate (don't forget marshmallows & a dab of whip cream!)play a board game, go ice skating, order a pizza
Saturday--Sleep in, go shopping at the mall, shop till you drop, have lunch with a friend, bake some cookies, sing in the shower, go sledding, make a snow angel, dress up & go to a party
Sunday--Make a Snow man, go roller skating, feed the birds, dance to your favorite music,, rest & relax, put a puzzle together, make some popcorn, make a special meal of some of your favorite foods, read a book
