Sharing and caring

Cultivating an attitude of gratitude and mindfulness are among my priorities as I thrive at my healthy weight. My fondness for affirmations continues to make actions (exercise) an expression of appreciation. 2014 I will thrive as I nurture the place of joy and fun too.

"A great attitude does much more than turn on the lights in our worlds; it seems to magically connect us to all sorts of serendipitous opportunities that were somehow absent before we changed."

Hello REBCCA: I was looking about the site and came across your SparkPage. I'm so inspired by all you've done. The things dreams are made of. You've done an amazing job with maintenance all these years. I,too, eat Organic and minimally processed foods. It's the least we can do for ourselves and our world. I enjoy the search for lovely fresh things just the way we were meant to eat them. Thanks for sharing your adventures.

REVERSE LIVING

Life is tough.
It takes up a lot of your time, all your weekends,
and what do you get at the end of it?
...Death, a great reward.
I think the life cycle is all backwards.
You should die first, get it out of the way.
Then you should live twenty years in an old-age home.
You get kicked out when you're too young,
you get a gold watch, you go to work.
You work for forty years until you're
young enough to enjoy your retirement.
You go to college, you party until you're ready for high school,
you become a little kid, you play, you have no responsibilities,
you become a little boy or girl, you go back into the womb,
you spend your last nine months floating.
And you finish off as a gleam in someone's eye.

Thanks for the blog comment! I have to admit, I tend to treat my diet in the same way as my religion - I grab the bits that sit right with me and combine them to create my own pathway. I works out right for the most part! emoticon
