I have Hashimoto's Thyroiditis (hypothyroidism) and it is really, really easy to put on the weight and really, really hard to take it off. I find that when I stay active, I can at least maintain, and have been watching what I eat for many years to not get out of control.

I was never a gym person, but am more and more getting into going and liking it. I like being outdoors and walking and staying active. I really hate winters now.

It's time to start being more active, getting into shape and taking care of me, since for the last 20 years I have been taking care of other.

emoticon Today's food for thought is by H. Ross Perot:

“Most people give up just when they’re about to achieve success. They quit on the one yard line. They give up at the last-minute of the game, one foot from a winning touchdown.”

Just a quick visit to share some thoughts with you ...

“When you make a mistake, don't look back at it long. Take the reason of the thing into your mind, and then look forward. Mistakes are lessons of wisdom. The past cannot be changed. The future is yet in your power.” - Phyllis Bottome

It only takes a little "umph" to change try into triumph! We can do it!

Make this a great day.

emoticon just dropping by to wish you a WONDERFUL Wednesday and share with you a quote by Steve Young:

“The principle is competing against yourself. It's about self-improvement, about being better than you were the day before”

So, remember, all you have to do today is something that is better than the day before! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
