Relisa's Journey

Hello, my name is Relisa.
The number one lesson I have learned on my journey of
weight loss, is take it one day at a time, be consistent with your goals and keep your eyes on the prize.
Rome was not built in a day, and so health will not come in just one day, but as I am faithful to my plan, I will see the results.

Most of All

Thanksgiving Day brings to mind
the blessings in our lives
that usually go unnoticed:
a home that surrounds us
with comfort and protection;
delicious food, for pleasure
in both eating and sharing;
clothes to snuggle up in,
books and good entertainment
to expand our minds;
and freedom to worship our God.
Most of all we are thankful
for our family and friends,
those treasured people
who make our lives extra special.
You are part of that cherished group.
On Thanksgiving, (and every day)
we appreciate you.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Lord, we pray for the power to be gentle; the strength to be forgiving; the patience to be understanding; and the endurance to accept the consequences of holding to what we believe to be right.
May we put our trust in the power of good to overcome evil and the power of love to overcome hatred.
We pray for the vision to see and the faith to believe in a world emancipated from violence, a new world where fear shall no longer lead men to commit injustice, nor selfishness make them bring suffering to others.
Help us to devote our whole life and thought and energy to the task of making peace, praying always for the inspiration and the power to fulfill the destiny for which we and all men were created.

HAVE A BLESSED THANKSGIVING!

Psalm 100:4Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful to him, and bless his name.
5For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

Relisa this experience has made me constantly collapse in a fit of thankfulness and praise when I don't hurt anywhere at all! I'm so grateful for the moments I'm pain free. I never took my good health for granted
