Eat To Live!

Hey, I'm Francis. A 21 year old girl living the "normal" life. Well, now I want that normal life gone, I want to start living and being someone. I want to help shape people's lives in the future, so I have to shape my own life first. I want a whole lot of things and my life-long weight issue has been holding me back. I want and wish a lot of things, but above all:

Update 01/05/2013
2012 was not a super-duper year for me. I gained back around about 15ish lbs, my lowest recorded weight was a tad below 190. For most of 2012 I had extreme fatigue and moderate depression, to the point where after work I wanted to lock myself in my room and not talk or communicate with anyone-- I just wanted silence. I finally went to the doctor in the middle of December, and I found out I have an under active thyroid.

Not much has happened since, my doctor put me on thyroid medication, and also on an anti-depressant. The goal is to get me off my anti-depressant once my thyroid is where we want it to be, but we'll see how it goes. In the mean time I'm eating within my calorie ranges and doing light exercise until I feel strong enough to do more. I'm hopeful this time around I have all the tools I need to get to a weight where I can feel comfortable in my skin.

Have done great so far this year. In total since I started documenting my journey I have lost 50 lbs, but have gotten too comfortable in my skin. Time to start losing my other 50 lbs. My goal right now is to make it to around 140 lbs by December. That means losing 36 lbs this year, 5 lbs every month. This is REASONABLE and I can DO IT. Just need to get off my fat butt and make it happen. Zing!!! Looking forward to being at a healthy weight for the first time in my entire life!

~I eat a strict vegetarian diet. I consider this a life change. This includes not eating any animal products at all. Mistakes do happen, but the important thing is being consistent. I firmly believe nothing should be all or nothing.

~Listen to my body. Don't overeat, unless it's plain veggies.

I know what you mean. It's been really hard for me to lose any weight even ON spark right now. Ever since my thyroid meds kicked in, my body just seems to want to gain! Anyways, good luck! And I posted a few more recent baby photos on my page.
