Personal Information:
I had a golden retriever who was a real fight, a cancer survivor, Aspen. She fought for 4 wonderful years. She is still my best friend.

After Aspen, I had Utah. He was my lover. He let me kiss on him as much as I wanted. He was my boy. He had epilepsy.

I miss them both. I have a great husband and Sierra is out rough and tumble golden. She is a 'farm girl' who loves going to our acreage (on weekends).

Spark has been a huge help to me. I have made some priceless friendships.

Yes, LOL Emma is the wild child. She loves the snow especially stalking the other two. It seems to be her favorite game.

OMG that photo bomb still I captured was hilarious. I shared it with my friend down in TN last night and we couldn't stop laughing.

I reminder her (the hen) daily that if she doesn't start laying eggs she'll be going into the deep freeze. She's full grown and has no excuse! I may have to purchase more fertilized hatching eggs for the incubator. I'll grow them out, keep the hens and harvest the Toms excluding the Big Guy. I need him to replenish my flock each year. We'll eat their offspring. Well that's my plan.

Enjoy the warmer temps.
My temp gauge current says 18 degrees Fahrenheit. emoticon

Thanks so much for the sunshine goodie! Going to get back in the GH today to finish the tank cleaning. That's not my favorite part - but we moved 20 females and 4 males yesterday to the 200 gal. tank. THAT is close to my favorite part.

Hope today is wonderful for you two! Any word on the new pup?

I love it! It's so much fun when they find their voices.
Guess that barking means you're stuck with him! LOL
You're family and he's protective. emoticon

Dot Dot is short coated - a heeler mix. So living outside without a warm, heated dog house of some sort isn't a good choice in our area. Besides that, our rescue group requires our dogs to be able to sleep inside at night. It is certainly an option though and in this case, a situation we would consider. It is very difficult to find families that will adopt 'special needs dogs' and she will be consider special needs now. I think we've convinced the Director to get her checked out with our vet to see if hormones, such as the Keke shared about her own dog, would be an option to help her.

I have to decide if it is right for me to go see her after she is back in our rescue group or if I need to completely let go since I don't have a home situation that would work for her.

I don't feel strong. I never had. I wish I could see the strength in myself that others see. I just feel like I have a weary heart a lot. Thank you for seeing it in me! That means a lot.
