Read a Lot, Think too Much. That's It.

Yup, I'm a full-time graduate student in theology. One degree down (Mdiv), two to go (ThM, PhD).

After 3 years of study, I jiggle a bit more than I used to. While that's not necessarily bad, I have noticed a disturbing loss of strength since leaving a physically active career for graduate school.

As such, I'm going to make a go at restarting my Spark People account along with my spouse who has done the same.

My Goals:
Comfortably fit my dress pants by next semester. :)

I gotta buy a suit next year, and I'd like it to a) fit well, b) continue fitting well.

Run 3 miles in 18 minutes.

Do 100 pull-ups in a single session.

Do 200 push-ups in a single session.

That's it for now.

Sit at my desk and study

Sit in a desk in class and take notes

Work at night

Weekend Warrior - that's me.

"Program" is trying to achieve an "active" sedentariness while I'm in school.

I think I am cheating on my minutes--unintentionally--I think it might be giving me 2x on circuit. But that might just add up to 5 min extra when I bike-- since it will only count 120 min. I gotta figure it out. emoticon

Hi.

Thanks for your comments on my blog. That is awesome that your wife is able to ski andbike long distances after her ankle fracture. It is very encouraging. Is she back to climbing? I just had my hardware (2 screws and 1 plate out) removed in November and finally feel like I'm making some progress.

It looks like you have an awesome job!
