Restore Me To Sanity

I'm back trying to apply the 12 steps to food addiction for the 1st time in 15 years. I've been working a 12-step program for drug use for 22 clean years. Tried Spark Tools a year ago to try and eat like an earthling but have decided sugar is too much of a trigger food for me. Also, I am joining the community now, which is new.
I am an emotional eater who is retraining to see food as a way to live instead of a reward, and it's time to take care of me! Using OA meetings and a food ...

Tried Spark Tools a year ago to try and eat like an earthling but have decided sugar is too much of a trigger food for me. Also, I am joining the community now, which is new.
I am an emotional eater who is retraining to see food as a way to live instead of a reward, and it's time to take care of me! Using OA meetings and a food sponsor working an abstinence that isn't too rigid. This is my first time using social media of any kind. I'm a very private person :)


Current Status:
RESTORETOSANITY I changed back to an analog scale. I'm at the upper range of maintenance, but a) I do want to go back down a little but also b) changing scales makes it look like I gained a lot all at once, but no :)

RESTORETOSANITY thank you for the encouragement! I am pretty hard on myself, mostly because I think that the whole "progress not perfection" is a gateway (for me anyway) to slack off and then use that as a cop-out instead of actually striving improve. I'm trying to look at positives, though, starting my 6th this week, have to do a defect vs. spiritual principles chart, and include examples. I think my sponsor's point may be to show me that I'm not 100% and 100% good, maybe not, but that's what I'm getting out of it so far.
