Go Bahama Mamas!!

On the inside, I'm fun, outgoing, enthusiastic, adventurous and love with all my heart and soul. But on the outside I'm fat. And I feel like it keeps me from being who I really am. I've been packing on the pounds since I was 17. I just don't want to live my whole life and never feel good about myself again. I'm ready to do this. I want to like myself again.

Update 2/13: I'm halfway there!

Woo Hoo! No. I thought the note would have been clear. The book is my gift to you. Either a belated birthday or happy anniversary, II really think the information will help you understand your body better and give you the power to make changes that make sense for you and your family. Even if that means not choosing a Whole30. I really hope you like it as much as I do. Today is my day 27 and I feel FREE for the first time in 15 years.

My husband got on the scale before he left on his business trip and he was down 9 pounds!!!! Of course since he didn't need to lose weight. Lol. He looked at the number and said, "What's going to happen to me if you turn this into a Whole60?". I smiled and said all that's left is Mathew McConaughey abs. Lol.

Please let me know what your honestly think of it. I can take it if you don't like it

thanks for visiting my page... to answer your question my immediate goal is to just be "overweight", I want out of the "obese" category on my bmi. silly, i know, but when i started this on march 1 i had 32 lbs to lose and i set the goal date of june 8th, (my 51st birthday) at this point i have about 5 lbs to lose in the next 3 weeks, i'm hoping i make it!! The next goal, i would like to get to the "normal" category (170ish) another 35 lbs... yikes, maybe by christmas??? i'm sure i will need to break that down into smaller increments otherwise it will seem too much to wrap my brain & motivation around. i will have to look at it, on my birthday (when i reach my 1st goal??) i made a decision to not "bite off more than i could chew" for my first "goal".
I needed something that was challenging but do-able.
i know all about how to set myself up to fail, trying to figure out how to set myself up to succeed!

If you drop by our Tracy team we have links to lots of her workouts on YouTube or I'm sure you could google her and find a bunch too So you can see the workout style before you ever invest in one. ( you can still win one in the Mama incentive drawing).

Tracy's workouts work muscles I didn't know I had and have been changing the shape of my body. All the regular weight training workouts like Jillian just toned up what I had but Tracy's have lifted my butt aee shrinking my thighs, and gotten rid of my bat wing arms. Even though I weigh 170 pounds I'm happier with the shape of my body than when I weighed 125 pounds if that makes any sense.

To forward you the email, I'll just need an email address.

I just read my Whole30 day 16 email. And it's perfect. It explains everything you/we have been struggling with. If you want to send me your email I'll forward it to you. If not I van try to copy some of it into a post on the Mamas.

Just popping in to see how everything's going. Don't let your scale get you down Nikki. You're doing GREAT! Keep the focus on you, keep making healthy choices, and in the end you will see the results you want.
