Making Me Count

As a mother and a wife I find myself with an obsession to make sure my family is taken care of. Often this happens at the expense of my own needs.

I am learning that if I am to be the wife and mother that I want to be that I need to put myself first.

My family is my life, but my greatest love is my relationship with God. I am creative in nature (with an imagination that drives my analytical husband bonkers). I enjoy photography, with an appreciation for Black and ...

I enjoy photography, with an appreciation for Black and White photos (as if you couldn't tell...), I also enjoy writting (blogs/journals/fanfiction/etc.), scrapbooking, and jewelry making, and I am beginning an adventure into sewing.

Photography allows me to be active and still have a creative outlet. The wedding photo of my husband and I is the only one I did not take myself... though i did do the editing in Black and White.

I'm Liz from the Black Panthers and I am competitive, not a lot, but enough to keep you on your toes! I look forward to working with you in the Winter Challenge!!! I'm here for support, encouragement, motivation, whatever you need me for! I've already lost 115 lbs in my journey to a brand new me. I used to be on over 10 meds each day, now am off of all those meds, but did need to add eye drops cuz I developed glaucoma (family history). On of the biggest things I'm proud of is overcoming depression/bipolar. It's really true that what you eat affects your moods! Have a great weekend!! I also had insulin resistance when I was at my biggest, but am no long in the danger zone. That's a great accomplishment too! Please add me as a friend if you haven't already done so. I appreciate you!
