Hi, I'm Cheryl, and it is time for me to drop the weight that I have been carrying around for almost 10 yrs. After a hip replacement, developing borderline high blood pressure and having to be on cholesterol meds, I am finally really to try again, with the help of my husband, to get back to a healthy weight for me. Not necessarily a slender me again, but healthier.

Hi Cheryl,
You know I am woefully behind already in the month of September for posting new topics in the Exercise section. I am thinking I will do a number of topics covering different areas of cardio. It will be a person's choice to either enter in time, laps, miles or just an emoticon to say you did this for the day.
I will make sure to do a post on swimming or water aerobics for those who have the chance to do this as cardio- I sure wish I could.
Let me know if you need help once I get it posted- hopefully today.

Hi,
Okay I saw your comment in the SEPTEMBER Pedometer tracking post and I can fully understand your limitations at the moment. Since I set this thing up I am really trying to understand each member's desires and I'd really like you in this one.

How about this: At the top of your post note that you currently cannot use the pedometer but for activity are doing swimming laps. Set yourself a swimming lap goal- be it daily, weekly, or monthly. Then set yourself a focus point for the month of September on something you'd really like to focus your efforts on to help in your healthy journey.
This way you can participate and we can support, cheer, and motivate you on. Please let me know if you'll consider it.

I REALLY would LOVE to have you on this one, even if its created a bit differently. I am here to help, and if you've got the desire to join in I am here to help you along.
