I'm a bit of an introvert and prefer to do things independently so I might appear standoffish at times. In reality I like to help people and I've been told I'm a good listener, so if you need someone to talk to just ask.

I've lost 75 lbs but that's nothing in comparison to dropping three dress sizes. I believe it's more important to focus on FAT LOSS by measuring inches, not weight. Plus, it keeps me sane when the scale refuses to budge or gives me bunk numbers.

I've lost 75 lbs but that's nothing in comparison to dropping three dress sizes. I believe it's more important to focus on FAT LOSS by measuring inches, not weight. Plus, it keeps me sane when the scale refuses to budge or gives me bunk numbers.

I don't count calories. I eat meals within a certain ratio of fat, protein and carbs depending on physical activity for the day. There's few things I fear in this world more than "dieting", high fructose corn syrup, trans fats/partially hydrogenated oils, artificial anything and outrageous sodium content.

Other points of contention to consider should you associate with me:
* LIFT HEAVY THINGS. REAL heavy things, not 5 lb dumbbells.
* High intensity training, i.e. short, explosive bursts, is better than 2 hours on a treadmill as far as cardio is concerned.
* MENTAL & EMOTIONAL HEALTH: don't neglect these, a bad state of mind will hinder you far more than any beverage or pastry known to man! There is no shame in seeking help and it does not make you a weak person.

But most of all NEVER SAY "I CAN'T". There's always a way, be creative with ideas toward your success, not failure. If it works for you, by all means do it. If it doesn't, try something else. Just don't quit.
