Lost weight thanks to Spark People. Wish I could say that was the happy ending, but health problems and surgeries got in the way. I have since regained much of the weight I lost. Having huge challenges with my diet. Thankfully, the exercise habit that Spark People helped me make a lifestyle has remained strong. Struggling with arthritis and fibromyalgia has given me added challenges, making me realize how important physical activity is.

My Goals:
My current goal is to 1.continue to record my food every day,
2 drink 8C of water daily,
3 to exercise and be more active daily
4 to weigh myself regularlyl

My Program:
I take part in water aerobics 3 days a week, swim laps and walk until the weather clears for me to bike again.

Getting stronger every day!
I feel great! April '09 was the start of an incredible journey into losing the weight that was effecting my health. It's been a great journey that surprisingly enough, has shown me that I could do what I didn't believe I could! My family is proud of me and that means the world to me!

Personal Information:
I was born in Billings, Montana and have lived here my entire life. I have been married to my very supportive husband, Bob for 33 years and we have 5 children and 3 grandchildren with 3 more on the way in 2011. I am a Christian and love serving in my church. I take care of elderly and love that profession.

Other Information:
I have reset my spark page. I need to lose the weight that I regained after 5 surgeries. I regret that I was careless and regained weight while ill and recovering. I was not as active as I like to be and didn't watch my food intake. Shocking how fast the hard work of losing weight can be undone!

Wellness isn’t about deprivation and it’s not about perfection.

It is about pointing yourself in the direction of growth,
training yourself to get comfortable with your highest potential,
and then taking small steps to support that shift.

It’s about showing up for yourself, day by day,
and then one day finding that you’ve undergone a transformation.
