My current goal is to 1.continue to record my food every day, 2 drink 10 C of water daily, 3 to exercise and be more active daily 4 to weigh myself regularlyl
I take part in water aerobics 4-5 days a week, swim laps and walk until the weather clears for me to bike again. I'm hoping to snow shoe again too.
Getting stronger every day! I feel great! April '09 was the start of an incredible journey into losing the weight that was effecting my health. It's been a great journey that surprisingly enough, has shown me that I could do what I didn't believe I could! My family is proud of me and that means the world to me!
I was born in Billings, Montana and have lived here my entire life. I have been married to my very supportive husband, Bob for 33 years and we have 5 children and 3 grandchildren with 3 more on the way in 2011. I am a Christian and love serving in my church. I take care of elderly and love that profession.
Rita, Here's to another great week on this road to health and wellness!
Just want to start off your week with a few suggestions. S -- Say something nice to someone! U -- Undo a wrong you might have done to someone! N -- Notice and give thanks for all the things in life we take for granted everyday! D -- Don't give up when things go badly! A -- Ask others for help if you need it! Y -- You can accomplish anything!!!!
Have a very spectacular Sunday!! (And Special thanks to BARBIEE52 for the basis of this lovely comment today!! She's my comment mentor and I appreciate all her help and being able to steal her ideas and craft them into something of my own!)
Hope you're having a good week, Ritarose...and that everyone in the house is feeling better. That crud sure is hanging on and going around and around. A good cold snap and it might leave for good! N = Nothing can replace you because you are a very special person! O = Overcome each obstacle by never giving up and never giving in! V = Visualize and trust that all goals and dreams are possible! E = Embrace inner well-being, healthy nutrition and fitness activity! M = Maintain focus on each goal, daily commitment and follow-through! B = Believe in yourself that you are a winner in all that you do! E = Encourage and inspire others by sharing your success! R = Remember, you are the SPARK that creates extraordinary results!
N o excuses O nly successes V ery positive E veryone can be M ake this the month we B elieve in ourselves E ven when we are on the edge R emember that we stand beside each other.
You are not alone on this journey. We do not stand in front or behind but beside each other. You can do this. Don't get down if you make a mistake but get back up and do it again and again until you get it right. It will happen. Maybe not today or even tomorrow but you will do it if you believe in yourself. Find that strength deep inside and bring it out. Don't jump into a decision to quit and then regret it. Even a small victory is a step ahead. I believe in you and now it is time for all of us to believe in ourselves. Let's make this the believe in ourselves month.
Hi Ritarose! Have a great November! *drink your *eat your five servings *track your food and fitness *get in your extra 10 minutes for Fit2Feast *get plenty of *remember think positive * keep walking and count your blessings!
Hope all is well with you in Billings. Had a friend from that area drive up to Havre today and she said it was pouring rain. We had a sunny, chilly day. Are you still walking for coffee in the mornings? And seems to me you were having grandchildren come to stay awhile. Think of you often and pray all is well!
