I'm at it again! 2 + years ago I was down to 175/size 12 and was happy and healthy! Some series of unfortunate events (not related to the movie, but felt that way) found me depressed, eating junk and not working out like I use to love to do. I looked at myself in the mirror and some pictures and found a 228 lb/size 18 unhealthy person staring back. It's time to stop making excuses and find that healthy and happy girl I was!

My Goals:
I would like to get down to the weight I was 2 + years ago (175 lbs) and a size 12. I was happy, I could hike all over town and the mountains without getting winded and my skin was clean and clear!

My Program:
DIET- follow the Spark guidelines for calories, protein, carbs and fat as closely as possible. I do substitute foods when I don't want to cook the recipe or eat the food with another suitable choice. I have tried new foods with SP and have liked most of them!

EXERCISE- I do extra cardio outside of the suggested occasionally, some aerobics and walking (I love local walks). I started doing strength training for a couple of weeks according to SP, but bought a Wii Fit Plus and follow a combined core/strength training combo. I started with half an hour and am currently at 45 mins. I try to bump it up an additional 5 mins each week.

Personal Information:
My name is Michelle and I am currently

212 lbs (lost 16 so far, yay!)

originally from Houston, TX

currently live in Olympia, WA

4 classes left until I graduate with my math education degree! I currently work as a personal care provider.

Other Information:
I have a new droid phone and found The Spark there!

I also love using Pandora and Running Buddy applications when I walk. Great free apps!!

Go to amazon or swimmers outlet online--you can get an mp3 player/headphones (work off of bone vibration) to listen to music while you swim--got one for my boyfriend and he loves it!

How are you liking your Wii Fit workouts? I've got mine set up and have used it a little bit. Do you have any favorites?

Keeping weight off is just as hard as taking it off in the first place! And any one with food issues knows it doesn't go away just cause we got the weight off. It's an addiction. Unlike most addictions you can't go cold turkey. MMMM cold turkey.... Um where was I? Oh ya...You can't just quit eating you have to learn how to stop when your full and to eat the good stuff instead of the bad. Food addictions are the hardest of all. Your back on track...You can do it! emoticon

hey, your tomatoes need tons of room to stretch their feet.. the biggest you can find.. tomatoes are monsters... lettuce doesn't take that much room and give them some relief from hot sun, they love it cool but bright light.. ask if you have any questions..i love gardening....OMG
