STAYING YOUNG

DURING THE LAST YEAR I HAVE HAD A FEW LIFE CHANGES AND A WEIGHT GAIN THAT I WANT OFF. I AM A PROFESSIONAL AND MOTHER OF THREE SONS WITH TWO GRANDSONS. I STILL WANT TO BE ACTIVE WITH THEIR ACTIVITIES NOT SITTING ON THE SIDE LINES WATCHING. SO HERE I AM GOING TO GET THE WEIGHT OFF AND KEEP IT OFF.

I ENJOY SWIMMING AND BIKING WITH TREND MILL WALK/RUN FOR CARDIO. I DO TRY TO DO WEIGHTS AT LEAST THREE TIMES A WEEK TO MAINTAIN MUSCLE MASS.

thanks a ton i need all of that,i am the kind who would feel more committed to something if i feel someone is watching over me. SP does this for me ..i like it when someone tells me, "hey buckle up and get that weight off",it truly helps. wil look over to you anytime i feel weak n tempted.

Wow...have about the same amount to loose. Seems like so much at times! I also have the problem of slow loss. Better than a gain and I feel less depressed and healthier when working on something. Good book on Menopause is "Hormones, Health and Happiness" by Dr. Steven Hotze. His website is Drhotze.com. This helped with my hot flashes, energy, aches/pains, carpal tunnel and too many to mention. You need some pictures on your page???

Best of luck on your journey, Rose. It's not easy, but with the help of the other wonderful folks here on SparkPeople we can all achieve a healthier lifestyle. I admire you so much for all you've achieved with no fingers or thumbs. It's truly amazing.
