Self-care for a change

I've always struggled with weight and have tried different diets that have never been practical and missed the lifestyle change component that I needed. So now I'm focused on some self-care. I recently signed up for my first 5K and I have 4 months to get myself in gear and make some positive longterm changes.

Hey!

Thank you for your comment on my blog! I've tried to explain to a few people that I feel like something is wrong, something more so than usual. Usually I've gone through small bouts where I just feel BLEH. But lately, within the last few months it's really taken a nosedive and I can see it and feel it. In most cases when I try to tell a loved one they kind of just brush it off like, "You're just coming off your TOM," or "Everyone feels like that." So it is nice to at least feel as if someone out there would take what I'm feeling seriously. I've also been debating seeing someone about it but I don't really know the first step.
