Consider the new leaf turned.

I'm freshly graduated from college and while I successfully avoided the stereotypical university health pitfalls (such as the freshman 15) I apparently have suffered from college creep. I had one of those experiences where you see a picture of yourself and suddenly realize that those 20 or so pounds you've gained since high school really DO make a difference in your appearance.

I like curves and my goal isn't to be thin. But I would like to be fitter, and feel like I look good in ...

My Program:
My mom is an extraordinary cook, so I've grown up with this focus on fresh ingredients of the highest quality; eating enough of the right thing isn't difficult for me because the 'bad' stuff (chocolate excluded) as a whole doesn't taste good to me. Give me stir fry over potato chips 9 times out of 10. But good food is not always low in calorie food and I'm trying to train myself to portion control so I can still cook my mom's recipes and stick to my plan. I'm also kicking up my exercise a notch - I hate strength training and I'm making myself do it.

Other Information:
Likes:
*Dark Chocolate (70% or higher)
*Black Tea
*Spicy Food
*Historic Clothing and Costume
*Cats

Dislikes:
*Asparagus (blegh)
*People who let their kids/animals be a nuisance
*People who take themselves too seriously
