My Goals:
Every year I lose 10 lbs over and over. I hate this because it keeps me in a perpetual state of having to lose 20-25 lbs. My goal is to lose 30 lbs and keep it off - AND - As of June 2014, I feel I'm half way there.

My Program:
To achieve my goal I'm trying to maintain consistency with food and exercise. I love swimming and just being in water. After a week of walking, stretching and cardio I go to the pool Saturday morning as a treat.

Personal Information:
I'm a Northern California native and now live in the Pacific NW with my partner of 16 years.

Thanks for stopping by my page, and emoticon back! I see that like me, you stick with just a few teams--that works best for me to focus, be known & accountable, share and support more deeply.

So what's the mountain in your profile pic? It doesn't look like Rainier or Shasta to me. I always loved camping in Yosemite when I was in California. Are you a walker? I don't run, but have checked out a couple area parks & trails--Coulan Park (?) in Renton, and Des Moines Creek trail.

I don't post often on the Seattle team--hardly anyone does!--but I keep hoping to meet Sparkers who aren't too far away. Well, emoticon for now.

Way to go this week girlfriend !!! Always best to use the same scale all the time and try to do the same time of day as well. All this leads to accuracy.

Looks like what we did last week worked for us, I say let's do it again this week hon !!!

Ok here goes and I really don't no the nutrition facts but I look at it as one single serving with what is in this treat can't be all that bad.

3-2-1 Cake Recipe

Take one box of "moist" cake mix like Betty Crocker your fav flavor
Take one box of Angle Food cake mix

Dump both into an air tight container and shake thoroughly to combine both mixes well.

Now use a measuring spoon ....

place in a ramkin
3 table spoons of the mix
2 table spoons of water
mix well
nuke in microwave for 1 minute

That's it !!! It's really that simple. ENJOY !!!

I find it to be a tasty single serve treat to satisfy my cake cravings. I like to top the vanilla cake with different fruit toppings and FF Cool Whip.

Hi Cheryl, hope you have a lovely day today.

I just wanted to tell you that the Butternut Squash Mac & Cheese was delicious and everyone loved it. I made a comment about it last Sunday evening after the picnic that day. I have to be honest I did make a few adjustments after I read the other comments with suggestions. I do recommend it and will def make it again. emoticon

Let me know how the cake turns out. Cake is my fav dessert. I make a single serve cake caked a 3,2,1 Cake. If your interested let me know and I'll give you the easy recipe. emoticon

Also regarding your weight results. Due to your meal last night and your beverages I want to suggest you re-weigh in tomorrow morning to get a true weight. Last night's meal maybe have contained a lot of sodium and this morning you may have seen the results of that. Flush it out today and report tomorrow, if it's the same then we will go with that. Just a thought let me know before I post it today. emoticon
