The journey continues. Starting in 2014, I am focusing more on time spent exercising and less on how fast I can run a mile. As I push further into my 40's I am seeing gravity take hold in places I didn't think possible and need to fight mother nature at all costs.

I am also going to start to focus on really toning my core. This is the most important thing I have in my fitness goals for 2014. My core is weak - which makes lots of other things difficult. Hopefully with a stong mid section other things will get easier.

I am also going to tone the rest of me....slow but steady - but I will get there.

My Program:
I have started following the Isagenix program. I know it is not for everyone - however, for me, not having to think about two meals a day is HUGE. I also have 2 snacks and a "real" dinner.

Now that I have reached my first goal - I am going to not use the cleanses as often. I find they disrupt my exercise routine too much - and I would rather go to the gym than not eat.

The game - I was worried I'd be wearing black & red Monday but they tied it with less than 7 seconds in the third. They were 5 on 3 thanks to a nasty head shot our captain took. The guy that hit him got kicked out & will probably be suspended. Our guy was trying to stand but couldn't. I hate seeing things like that. OT didn't last as long as Thursday night. It only took like 6 minutes.

Robyn- I have a droid phone...there is a free app called run walk interval that is awesome ,...so if you ever want to do intervals, grab that - you can actually reprogram the voice prompt (it can vibrate too if you want) to say specifically what you want it to say. I have a friend who changed it to say 'run, fatty, run!" hah!

Thanks for your comment on my blog. It is so true that some people complain about the silliest things. I often pray for them that they never have to deal serious illness, a financial crisis, or any other really serious matter because they would fall apart at the seams.
