2012 Is MY Year!!!

Hi and thanks for stopping by. All my life I have always been the bigger sister, bigger friend and don't want to be that label anymore. I've been on the spark journey since January 2009 and will not give up until I reach my goals. I did lose close to 20 pounds by the time 2011 came around, but I got so caught up with job interviews and started gaining some of it back. Then I got a job that required a lot of traveling which I enjoyed, but that caused the rest of my weight gain. So now I'm starting again in 2012, but this time I have a plan which are mentioned in my blogs.
The last 2 months of 2011 were pretty rough for me, mainly because I lost my job. I did have some moments where I felt depressed and without a purpose, but then I got busy with other things and bounced back quickly. I'm still looking, but meanwhile working a small part time job. I'm taking advantage of the free time I have now.
Here are my goals and rewards:
GW: 135 - 140
170 - get a Cathe Friedrich MMA/Boxing DVD
165 - Chattanooga girls' night out
160 - get a second Cathe Friedrich MMA/Boxing DVD
155 - Opera night out in Atlanta with the girls
150 - Friends Season 9
145 - leather pants
140 - photo shoot with awesome outfits and guitars
135 - come back to this one

Concentrating on: cardio and ST, eating in as much as possible and filling the plate half full of vegetables.

Fitness Minutes: 20,247
1) Reach my goal weight of 140 by Oct 15 2012.
2) Be able to run for 10 minutes straight by end of March 2012.
3) Do 10 guy pushups in a row by end of March 2012.
4) Lose 7 pounds by end of March 2012.
5) Complete the Warrior Dash.
6) Regain my core strength.
7) Learn one song on acoustic guitar by end of March 2012.
This month's plan is:
Cardio will be 5-6 x's a week. This will include running sessions outside, Zumba, and Tae Bo the first two weeks and replace Tae Bo with Capoeira the next two weeks.
ST will be 3-4 x's a week. This will include some ST in between Tae Bo and Capoeira as well as a couple of ST DVD's. The nightly ritual is 30 crunches middle and sides.
For March my concentration will be eating in as much as possible and filling up half the plate with vegetables. Eating out will be limited to breakfast once a week, lunch once a week, and dinner twice a week.
In April I will limit the breakfast out to once every other week and add in writing down everything I eat.
I'm 29 living in the southeast. Last year I thought I wanted to move elsewhere, but realized that this is where I belong. I love it here and love what this place has to offer. I have so many interests and those change from time to time, but the ones that stay consistent is science, cooking, playing guitar, staying strong, and dancing. I have tried rock climbing and several other hobbies before, but the ones I mentioned are pretty consistent. I love trying new things and appreciate good food.
I love Family Guy, the new Beavis and Butthead, and South Park. Lzzy Hale and Dan Jacobs are my celeb inspirations. I have a weakness for cheesecake and Cheez-Its, but haven't had either in a long time.
