Today, I promise I will not quit.
I pledge that no matter, how many ups and downs I pass through, I will continue on my journey.
I pledge to make a NEW START today, and forgive myself for my past, and to stop being so critical of myself.
I pledge to take control of myself, to stop making excuses, and stop blaming other people or situations.
I pledge to treat myself as I would my best friend, because that is who I am.
I pledge to stay in the race and to be a WINNER!

LIVING IN THE MOMENT 2017--

I AM NOT GOING TO WORRY ABOUT YESTERDAY
I CANNOT CHANGE IT

I AM NOT GOING TO WORRY ABOUT TOMORROW
FOR IT NEVER COMES

I AM "ONLY" GOING TO WORRY ABOUT RIGHT NOW!
WHAT HAPPEN 5 MINS. AGO IS PAST
WHAT HAPPEN NEXT MINUTE NEVER HERE.

THAT ONLY LEAVES THE NOW!!! AND I WILL SUCCEED!!

10/23/17 Hi! Think it has been almost a year since i was here. I'm not a happy camper. It seems like I'm never going to lose this weight. Been trying to shake it since 2008. I keep giving up! So here goes again another try. Someday one of these have got to take! I remember when I try to quit smoking I quit over and over again without success until one day I succeeded so hopefully that's what's Happening Here. So this should be my successful round. I also took long breaks in between trying to quit smoking but one morning I woke up decided that was it I quit and never smoked again. Wish I could do that with food but we can't and I think that's what makes it harder to lose weight is because we can't just quit food. We need food to stay alive. So here goes to another round; round one and I don't know how many attempts throughout the years but here goes. Wish me luck!!

Thanks for visiting my page and the welcome back goodie. I have been here but not very prominent. I have been combating 2 compression fractures at the L4/L5. Ended up in the hospital then to my brother's home for over 3 months. My SIL was wonderful. She helped me with ADLs until I could do it for my self. She made meals according to my nutritional needs, took me to the DR's and opened her home to therapists so I could get better. Some days were rough and she has a lot on her plate but we made it. Come home today. I will continue with therapy.

Ronda: Thank you for the goodies and your comments, I actually just now saw the small challenge for today, but I did do something to toot my horn about, I finally bought those 2 lb dumbbells and have used them, I'm going slow for a few days, my arms and shoulders have a way of becoming inflamed if I do to much to fast. They were only $1.89 a piece at academy sports. I had to get blue ones, I wanted pink, so the 3 lb ones are pink, so that's my goal to work up to those 3 lb pink one, and I think the 4 lb ones are lavender. emoticon
