Look who's back!

I can't believe that I started Spark People in 2010. It looks like I bounced back in here in 2012 but that was a short stay!.. Well it is time again to recharge myself and my mind on how to stay healthy for good.. My health actually has been very good. The weight didn't all come back but it inched up there slowly. I realize what I need is to learn more about healthy choices. And to use our trackers. I have not done well with thinking off the top of my head :) So here I am back again and ...

My Goals:
These are new goals.
I want to be healthy and strong. I will loose the 10 holiday pounds by the middle of June


My Program:
I will track my food everyday.
I will get a full days serving of fruits and vegetables
I will drink 8 glasses of water a day
I will stay around 1200 calories per day.
allowing extra calories not to exceed 2000 on 1 day a week.
I'll get 30 minutes of exercise 6 days a week.
at least 15 minutes of that in cardio
I will be positive, productive, calm, and take each day as it comes.
I will quickly work around obticles.
I will write in my journal each day.

Personal Information:
My name is Ronie.
I am a wife, mom and nana.
I have been married for 20 years.
I have one daughter.
one son who we adopted 5 years ago.
3 grandchildren 2 boys and a girl.
my son is one of my grandsons.

I live in Oregon. I was born and raised in California, we moved to Arizona and I fell in love with Oregon after I visited my mom in 1985 and I have been here since 1987.

My husband and I moved to the Oregon Coast in 2004.. it is beautiful. coast. I find all of Oregon beautiful.

We are looking for hiking trails and we are nearly completly outfitted so we can camp with out having to stay in a camp ground.

I am looking forward to a life time of healthy choices. I have learned so much on SP and I am so happy with my progress I know this has become a lifestyle change that all the books talk about.

Other Information:
I like to do things with my hands. I like to crochet. I taught myself thread and filet crochet this last year. I want to knit a pair of socks.

I designed the shawl - it is my angora rabbits and goats fur - I sheared them,washed,spun,wrote and knit- oh & dyed it ....

Your pets are so cute! I go by the clothes too and how I feel. When I'm eating right I feel well.

I didn't express myself clearly. I meant to say I don't weight myself enough. LOL. I'm far from my goal but I don't express it in pounds anyway. I use other markers.

Ronie, thanks for your comment on my blog, and for sympathizing. I feel like I really AM crazy sometimes!! It's really disheartening.

I've actually started a notebook where I'm going to print out all my days for tne next two weeks from my Nutrition Report page so he can see EXACTLY what I am eating. I'm also going to show him my exercise log, too.

Thank you again for your support. I'd truly despair if not for Sparkpeople!
