I have been inactive for 5 years and now wish to get fit. The motivation is simple I have to have double knee replacement & I want recovery to go smoothly. The end rewards are less weight to carry around, easier to breath, I also have COPD, & just maybe I can get off of some of the prescription drugs.

Thanks for stopping by my page. I had to stop in at yours and I am impressed by how much your face has slimmed down and how much younger you look!

If it’s important to you and you want to do it ‘eventually’, just do it and correct your course along the way."

Hi,

I had my knee replace in September. I need the other one done as well but it can wait for a bit. Being healthy, getting the weight off and moving your body are the best gifts you can give to yourself. If I can do it anyone can.
Health and happiness to you! emoticon

Hi

You are right about losing weight before you have knee replacement surgery. I had both of mine done 14 yrs. ago,6 months apart and I weighed 127 lbs. Over the yrs., I gained and lost over and over again until I put on 100 lbs. I'm at goal weight now and my old knees don't bother me anymore. Good luck my friend. Keep in touch. Carol
