My doctor put me on blood pressure medication and "forced" me to go to Weight Watchers meetings. Due to work and other obligations, I was unable to continue WW and have been trying to lose the weight on my own. Unfortunately, instead of losing, I've gained almost 30lbs. The other day, I just made up my mind and decided that I'm not going to continue down this path that will eventually cause my health to deteriorate even more. Enough with the yo-yo dieting . . . it's time for a lifestyle change!

My Goals:
This time has to be different. I am not making any weight loss goals at the time. My goal is to change my bad eating habits (I'm a fast food junkie!) and replace them with healthy options (fruits, veggies, limited grains, lean meat & fish).
My Program:
Reallly planning my meals ahead of time, drinking tons of water/green tea, & exercise at least 4x a week and incorporating both cardio (3x a week) & strength (2x a week).
Personal Information:
I will be divorced two years on 8/24/11 and considering all the stress & health issues I've faced, I didn't overdo anything. I've gained about 30 lbs in the past year, but have taken control again and have set a long-term goal of losing 100 lbs by my wedding on 6/8/13. I have made some smaller goals as well so that I don't overwhelm myself.
