Thanks for reading and commenting on my blog! You have a great diet. I strive to eat similarly. The wine is a treat, but not once every six months either. I entered into this diet via Mark Sisson's "Primal Blueprint" and I know he enjoys his red wines so that influenced me. In fact I was more of a beer person but going GF means I've dropped beer for the most part. Wishing you well as you coach people to better nutrition and health!

The definition of eating clean might be a little bit different from each fitness & wellness professional.
Eating clean for me, eating from the source (anything is from the ground,garden, farm, no process) for example fruit ,vegetable, root vegetable, grass fed meat, poultry and egg.
However, as a role of nutrition coach. I teach my clients to start by eating for energy & blood sugar stabilization.
They do not eat clean if they want to reach weight loss goal because they will combine the food with the right ratio of carb/protein/fat for each meal (note not for each day) and eat every 3-4 hours. During the coaching I explain to them why? how is our body work ? Everybody lose 2-4 pounds per week without exercise or even though they live other side of the world.
This is long term weight loss and for health. because they still eat what they like and match with the lifestyle.
However, I explain to them abut high quality food/medium quality/ low quality
after that it's their choice to choose
high quality : , vegetable, brown rice, fruit, sweet potato, etc
medium quality : whole wheat bread, muti-grain cereal, English muffin,etc
low quality : candy, sugary food, cracker
high quality : egg, meat, chicken etc
medium quality: Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, milk
low quality: protein powder, protein bar

Thank you for stoping by my blog! I have a small breakfast as in egg white on whole wheat bread with a lean piece of ham, than I will have a snack like greek yogurt, or a banana or a handful of grapes then Ill have lunch either baked chicken, fish, salad with grilled chicken or center cut pork, and than carrots or a small salad(no meat just veggies) for snack and than dinner is usually chicken, fish, whole wheat past or center cut pork...i also eat hard boiled eggs whites as a snack or unsalted penuts to switch it up....whats ur take on that? i would love to know, the more info I can learn the better :-)

Thanks for your comment. Yes, the measuring tape is the best and the clothes of course.
I used my new MIO heart rate monitor I bought at Winner's for $30. It's my best Christmas gift to myself.
