LIVING A SPARKLING LIFE!

Hi! My name is Rose & I've been Sparking for a while now! My weight was at 230 when I became serious about my health & well being. I was diagnosed with Type II Diabetes in 2010 & was put on Metformin. I joined SparkPeople in an attempt to lose the weight & become healthier. My weight has fluctuated, but I'm around 175 now, thanks to SP & it's wonderful community! Currently, I'm not on any Diabetes medication & my HgA1C is 5.3! I exercise daily & am mindful of what I'm putting in my mouth! Hey, we CAN do this! One day at a time, we CAN!!!

Hello! Name is Rose! Struggling a bit these last few weeks & haven't been tracking like I know I must! Getting back to the basics is what's needed! I'm still down almost 25 pounds since I started w/WW's & I need to recommit, track my foods, & stay within caloric range! I'm exercising daily & plan to continue! My most recent love is spinning!!! Lovin' SparkPeople!!! Lovin' the community!!! Go fellow Sparkers!!!

Hi! Rose here! Since I've restarted my weight loss efforts, I've lost 29.2 lbs doing Weight Watchers! I track both on SparkPeople & I'm using the etools on WW's. Tracking has been the key for me...& I realize I will ALWAYS have to be mindful of what I put in my mouth! I exercise daily & plan to continue! I adore the SP community & the support of so many wonderful people! SparkPeople is awesome!

Hello! My name is Rose & I've been on SparkPeople for two years! I lost almost 70 pounds when I first joined. I've strayed for a while...& have gained a little over 30 lbs back. How? Not by not exercising, cause I do plenty! I stopped tracking! Yep! Simple as that! So, I'm back on track! SparkPeople works! The community is wonderful! Let the games begin!!!

Hi Rose...
Yea, yea, I know. I haven't been on in a long, long, long time. I have been way too busy. I just advised my pastor that at the end of the year I'm getting off 2 committees that I'm on. That still leaves me with 2 church committees and 1 really big outside committee. (The Park!) It was just getting to be too much running.
I see you have continued to be a VERY GOOD GIRL! I'm so proud of you!

Hi Rose, thanks for your encouragement, I really look forward to your comments. I hope your Blood work will be right where it should be. I hope your spinning class is still doing great. I loved to cycle but my tail bone is problematic. I bought a weird seat at Wal-mart weeks ago before the eye surgery and just after DH was allowed to ride. He has discovered that he cannot do it with his new hip. I will call the orthopedist and ask if any OT or PT might be available for him. I ask questions and usually get answers HUGS and much love Pat in Maine. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
