I managed to keep weight down for two and 1/2 years. Unfortunately I allowed myself to gain about 6 pounds during this last holiday season. I can't let this happen. I must turn it around now!! I'm going back to the basics. Do the things that got me to my goal in the first place. Drink 8-10 glasses of water each day.(I've been slacking off). Eat my fruits and vegetables and stay away from rice and pasta. The most important thing I need to start doing again is workout ...

I'm going back to the basics. Do the things that got me to my goal in the first place. Drink 8-10 glasses of water each day.(I've been slacking off). That will keep me where I want to be. 2015 is the year of Successes, whatever that means to you.

SUCCESS!!! My goal was to lose 100 pounds. I have lost 103 pounds. I weigh 170. I haven't been this small in a very long time. It may not seem small but it is. I still have those darn chicken arms. LOL. I'm not a spring chicken and I've been large so long that if I lose any more I will look bad. I decided I will stay right where I am and my doctor agrees. I am happy, healthy and my DH and I think I look great!!

My new goal is to help others succeed in their goal to become new healthier people.

~When I wake up I will drink a large glass of water and eat a healthy breakfast
~Do a five minute exercise burst each morning before breakfast
~Do a least 30 minutes of Strength or cardio 6 days a week
~I will stay within my nutritional ranges as least 5 days a week

My name is Pam. I'm a Christian and have been married for 19 years and we were together 10 years before that. I have 4 grandchildren. Boy 22, girl 14, boy 6 and another boy 4. I'm Nana to all of them and I love spending as much time as possible with them.

Other Information:
I am disabled. It's frustrating because its only been about 5 years and I'm not used to being limited. I'm blessed because when I had back surgery it was completely successful and it stopped the majority of my pain.

I live a blessed life. All my needs are met and I am able to spend quality time with my 86 y/o Mom. She's happy and healthy and we have great fun together.

Hi! I used to always get hit by people running red lights! Did I think the Devil was causing those, nope. Someone told me they were my fault! what I said? they told me because I was so quick to be among the first persons to get going during a green light, that was why I was getting hit. It really made sense, and I haven't had anyone hit me since. Now I just have accidental accidents like backing into poles. In life many things happen, and we just can't blame the devil for everything. There are just a lot of people out there driving on drugs, or alcohol. When I come to stop signs even though I have the right of way, I always creep up, because there are a lot of people who drive, yet don't understand what laws are , maybe what needs to be done is that we need to become their drivers training teachers? Anyway drive defensively, and raise your insurance to keep costs down. If you need to learn which insurances are cheaper let me know. I was complaining about mine going up to $1500.00 for both the house too, and when I went thru all the other insurances they are up near $2,000.00! So I guess I should stop complaining. hugs, eva

Being tired is a normal experience when you are in warfare! Joy of the Lord is my STRENGTH. Easy to say....

I come to you as a friend, to say that God is a God of miracles! and I want us to claim together victory over you in the name of Jesus!
When I am tired and weak, Lord are strong, and are my source of help. I cannot fight without you. Teach me how to pray and to trust you to pull down those strongholds that keep me or others helpless. Guard me from isolation that leaves me exposed and vulnerable. But like a bad penny, my enemy keeps showing up, whispering lies, twisting truth, and attempting my pride. Strengthen my faith, Lord. so I can stand and fight the spiritual battles in my life. Give me your wisdom and discernment so I won't be caught off guard. Together I know I can be a victor, because Lord you have already defeated the enemy, here on Earth.
Lord, through the power of your precious name and blood, I agree with your Word and the truth that you are in me and that you are greater than my enemy who wants to rule the world. You, your Word, and prayer, Lord, are my secret weapon that fills me with a powerful God-confidence. I want to constantly dress in the spiritual armor you give me. Help me use it to defend myself & others from Satan's fiery darts as well. In Jesus's powerful name before which every knee shall bow, Amen!

I HOPE YOU CAN GET A GOOD NIGHTS SLEEP PAM....... IT'S NO GOOD WHEN YOU CAN'T SLEEP AT NIGHT CAUSE YOU END UP SLEEPING MOST OF THE DAY AWAY........ AND THAT KNOCKS YOUR WHOLE SCHEDULE OFF.... ONCE YOU GET BACK INTO ROUTINE YOU WILL FEEL A LOT BETTER........ I NOW HAVE 1 WEEK AND 2 NIGHTS OF CLEAN EATING. emoticon
