I want to lose weight so I can do all the things I used to do, such as kayaking, hiking, running. I'm not losing weight at an alarming rate, but I'm happy to be going in the right direction - most of the time.

Being good to myself first - if I fancy a treat I have to eat something healthy first. After this I'm usually satisfied, or can take a smaller portion of the junk.

Walking every day with my DH.

Ah, Betty, if only! That is just my first goal of fifteen pounds. I'm afraid I've plenty more where that came from! Well, approximately another three goals of fifteen pounds to reach my target weight. I just thought that it would be easier in smaller chunks. It is pretty exciting to see the ticker reaching the end of the line!
