Motivation to Lose This Fat Forever!!

I know how to lose - lost 120 with WW, 95 with exercise physiologist, 85 on Atkins, 85 from gastric bypass. This time I want to lose and keep it off. For the first time my weight is effecting my lifestyle with arthritis in my knees. I am really excited about being a SparkPerson!!
By the way, my name is Kay. Long story on the Rubydoodle....

My Goals:
I want to lose at least 130 pounds because my knees are getting really bad. I want to be upwardly mobile for a long time!

My Program:
I use the nutrition tracker and the activity tracker. I am walking at least five days a week for 50 minutes a day and staying within 1200 - 1550 calories to lose 2 pounds weekly.

Personal Information:
I am Kay, 64 years young, and live in Townsend, TN. My husband (of 44 years - a keeper) and I are retired educators and camp about six months a year - usually out West/Northwest in summer, Outer Banks of NC and coast of SC in fall, and Florida Keys for the winter.

Other Information:
I have three children (twin daughters and son). The girls are married and each has a son and daughter (My FabFour). My son is not married -- yet. I still have hopes he will find the right one!

Kay: Your little Villa, sounds wonderful, just right for you and your DH. Truly, GOD IS GOOD. We are going to my sister-in-laws for Christmas, we had all the Greats, and Grands for Thanksgiving so we may see some of them for Christmas eve, but will have a quiet Christmas day with her and some of her children, which are all adults except for one. Christmas on the beach sounds like a great place to be. I'm so glad you are feeling good.

Got to go for now: CJ from OK. HAVE A GREAT DECEMBER.

Sounds like you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! We did, too. Did I tell you we bought a park model in a campground just south of Myrtle Beach? It has two bedrooms and a loft that we can get four twin air mattresses for all the grands. They love it up there, even the 14 year old! Our son, one of our daughters and her husband and two children stayed here. My other daughter and her family stayed at the Hampton Inn. I had bought a tall, very thin Christmas tree. We all made Christmas ornaments from shells we found on the beach. I thought they'd do it an hour and quit, but it lasted all day Friday and off and on Saturday. We had a lot of ornaments for the tree! Just the starfish on top did not come from something one of us collected from the beach. We are really enjoying our villa (what the locals call the park models). The weather while everyone was here and today has been mid-70's and beautiful sunshine. We had a fire in the firepit for those of us who enjoy that and making so'mores. It was chilly in the evenings, but not cold. What a perfect Thanksgiving!!! God is so good!!! Merry Christmas to you and yours! I hope your knees and back will feel better, which will add to your enjoyment!

Kay: Just wanted to tell you and your DH, HAPPY THANKSGIVING, and to see how you were doing.
I'm doing fairly well, I still have some pain in knee's and this week some low back problems that really hurt sometimes. But I'm so thankful I can still walk some and drive and do housework, and play with my GC and GGC. I have a new GGS since I visited with you last, He was born on Oct 19th at 2:13pm, he weighed 7.6 lbs and 19inches long. a perfect baby. His name is Elijah Alexavier. God is SOoooooooo GOOD.
On Thanksgiving I will get to see 4 of my 5 children and 8 of my 10 GC, and 8 of my 8 GGC, really my 9th will be there only he won't be born until March.

Oh, what a wonderful day it was!!!! I wore a tiara and special t-shirt with the Last Chemo date on it and BELIEVE with the BC ribbon. I'll try to get the photo loaded on SparkPeople. I wore t-shirt and tiara all day!! I was truly Queen for the Day!!!! I hope you are doing well. We are hoping to head west mid-Julyish. God has blessed me so much this year!! Now I have GOT to get the 12 pounds I gained off!! I lost four and then had two rounds of company back to back and gained them back. Oh well, I'll get back to it when I have ridded the frig of all unfriendly food!! emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
