A Ray of Sunshine in a dreary World!!

Food should be your friend, not your enemy and the gym is not a torture chamber. Being healthy has been a struggle for me for many years. Most people see me and assume that I was always a small, athletic girl. I grew up the chunky girl, the fat girl in class and the girl that gained the freshman 50 instead of 15. It was in college that friends helped me lose the weight and set me on the track I'm on now. Healthy living!

My passion is to help others, through fitness and just health in general. I am a Zumba instructor with a smile on my face always. I am getting trained in KickBoxing also. I take other fitness classes, not just for myself but so that I can encourage others to join me in the fun.

I believe that it's all about you, once you come to the conclusion that you want to look good for yourself and no one else, then you can achieve that goal!

My Goals:
My goal is to get toned up to enter a physique competition. I don't have the genes to become huge, which I don't want anyways. I want to become enough to enter the competition and place.

My Program:
I go to the gym every morning at 6. I do my cardio and sometimes I do some lifting to make up for the night time that I missed. I lift hardcore with men, and they push me like a man.

Other Information:
I want to stay toned and keep up on my goal for 1 reason, my father. He gave up everything when my brother, sister and myself were born. He had dreams just as we do, and I want to live out his dream of body building for him.

And Welcome to the BASICALLY BASIC CHALLENGE!
There's a thread on the team page called POPULAR QUESTIONS where a LOT of questions have been posed and answered. Take the time to read through it as questions you have may have been answered on there - and you may find some questions you DIDN't know you had!
