Be grateful for each moment....
I lost 40 lbs when I started running 3 years ago. Pretty much just by running consistently and eating healthy foods. I started running to help with my TMJ. Running helps me in many ways and I pray I am healthy enough to do it for many many more years! This year I have gained 20 lbs since May 2012~Not happy about it. I am on this journey for the long haul so I dusted myself off and recommitted to sparking. I finished off 2012 meeting 1st goal of getting under 190! Whoo hoo! ...

Running helps me in many ways and I pray I am healthy enough to do it for many many more years! This year I have gained 20 lbs since May 2012~Not happy about it. I am on this journey for the long haul so I dusted myself off and recommitted to sparking. I finished off 2012 meeting 1st goal of getting under 190! Whoo hoo! Next goal is to keep on pressing forward, releasing myself from perfection. I will persevere through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I don't want to quit or stop or get hung up anymore. I really want to make this a lifestyle. That is my main focus this year. Getting healthy in all areas of my life. The weight loss will be the icing on the cake making it easier to run/train/maybe get faster, who knows! Just moving forward is fun.

My Goals:
To get to a healthy weight/size for my body. I think that is a size 8 with weight around 165. Healing so I can run again! To be in a place of gratitude every day!
My Program:
Run 20 - 25 miles weekly May 2013 I'm still recovering,two stress fractures. Stationary bike until I can run. Strength train/weights 2 x weekly Core Whole, healing, healthy foods. Get up & dust myself off, evaluate & then move on when I fall...this is life & I want to live & learn & love every day!
Personal Information:
I am 5'10". 41. Blessed to know Jesus as my savior and lord. I have a great husband and kids, 9 &7. I spend my days teaching 3rd & 1st grade. Enjoy running, reading, baking, cooking, date nights with hubby, snuggling my kiddos, exercising with my kids.
