Under construction....

I lost 40 lbs when I started running 4 years ago. Pretty much just by running consistently and eating healthy foods. I started running to help with my TMJ. Running helps me in many ways and I pray I am healthy enough to do it for many many more years!
I have regained much of the weight of I lost! I could say it was all due to an injury, but it would just be excuses. I am owning my choices, good, bad and ugly ones and moving forward. As of July 29, 2013 I got up to 208.4. I will work ...

I have regained much of the weight of I lost! I could say it was all due to an injury, but it would just be excuses. I am owning my choices, good, bad and ugly ones and moving forward. As of July 29, 2013 I got up to 208.4. I will work towards 160 lb knowing that eventually I'll get there. Even though I have ran many miles, including one full marathon in the last 3 years, I am starting anew due to two stress fractures on my tibia in Dec. 2012. I pray that starting slowly will allow me to run again without re-injury.
I'm off to work towards my goal of a healthy life.

"Never wait for the proper mood to start a thing, nor until the spirit moves you. Make your own mood. Make your own spirit. How? ACT. Do something – anything. Inspiration seldom generates action. Action always creates inspiration."

Thanks for the note on my page and for reading some of my blogs. I added you as a friend as well and look forward to hearing about your victories along the way. My sister is the shortie at 5'10. In fact that she is the shortest of 6 of us. haha

“The difference between stepping stones and stumbling blocks is not in the event itself but how you think about it and what you do after it.
Every failure and setback can become part of your success or an excuse for quitting or failing.
People who develop the discipline of positivity are both happier and more successful."
