Marathon Mom

I just turned 50 and ran my second marathon (Pittsburgh) to celebrate . . . super slowly! Would like to speed up and lighten up a little bit. Looking for motivation to stop eating chocolate chip cookies and my daughter's leftovers! I'm an emotional eater and I want to stop being one.

Hello :)

Just wanted to let you know that I liked your reply to the "Any Ideas for enjoying strength training?" thread so much, that I included it in my most recent blog post. I hope that's OK :)

Congrats on all your success!!

oh gee...let's see if I can remember this...on your start page, go to fitness goals, enter in how many days a week you'll be doing cardio (and strength training), for the amount of time, etc...I think if you save your changes it should automatically update your daily caloric need...if I'm wrong (and it wouldn't be the first time...), check out the video tutorials on the video page...let me know if this works for you...

Forgive yourself. Be compassionate with yourself. You have done amazing up to now. Those little 'setbacks' happen to all of us. We are all here for you. BTW congrats on your marathon!
