I have been on Sparkpeople for 5 years now. I gained back some of my weight and am anxious to get to my goal and maintain. My plan is short and simple: Track all food and exercise, exercise about 60 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week, and drink at least 8 cups of water daily. I have learned that those are the things that help me focus without my life becoming all about weight-loss or weight-control.

My Program:
I am using the Sparkpeople nutrition guide - but not so much the menus - to watch what I eat. I do a lot of walking and enjoy using the Wii to get in my exercise.

Personal Information:
I am a 62-year-old wife and mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 plus one in heaven. I love to read, to walk, and just to enjoy the beauty of nature. I work mornings in the spring and summer but full-time when fall and winter hit as I work for a heating and cooling company.

Thanks for visiting my Spark Page and leaving the reminder about letting God do His will! It is interesting how often we can try to take the reigns! Your reminder is well appreciated! Perhaps God even allowed my mother's situation to pop up so that we might get out of His way so that He can work on my brother - who knows??? Thanks for thinking of me!
