I have been on Sparkpeople for 4 years now. I have learned a lot of things. I still want to lose about 15 more pounds. My plan is short and simple: Track all food and exercise, exercise about 60 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week, and drink at least 8 cups of water daily. I have learned that those are the things that help me focus without my life becoming all about weight-loss or weight-control.

My Goals:

My Program:
I am using the Sparkpeople nutrition guide - but not so much the menus - to watch what I eat. I do a lot of walking and enjoy using the Wii to get in my exercise.
Personal Information:
I am a 61-year-old wife and mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 with one on the way. I love to read, to walk, and just to enjoy the beauty of nature. I work mornings in the spring and summer but full-time when fall and winter hit as I work for a heating and cooling company.
