I have been on Sparkpeople for 5 years now. I gained back some of my weight and am anxious to get to my goal and maintain. My plan is short and simple: Track all food and exercise, exercise about 60 minutes a day, 5-6 days a week, and drink at least 8 cups of water daily. I have learned that those are the things that help me focus without my life becoming all about weight-loss or weight-control.

I am using the Sparkpeople nutrition guide - but not so much the menus - to watch what I eat. I do a lot of walking and enjoy using the Wii to get in my exercise.

Personal Information:
I am a 62-year-old wife and mother of 2 and grandmother of 3 plus one in heaven. I love to read, to walk, and just to enjoy the beauty of nature. I work mornings in the spring and summer but full-time when fall and winter hit as I work for a heating and cooling company.

Hope things are going better for Sebastian.
Gabba is sleeping better. She had gotten to the point on 1 or 2 hours a night and that was not helping anything.
