On 10/10/10 I renewed my diet and exercise commitment. My doctor said I need to lose some weight to keep my heart healthy. I started back in 2006 and made a number of lifestyle changes. I lost about 10lbs. Now I want to shed the last 15lbs.

I'm more consistent with my workouts. Which was a big huddle for me. I'm more aware of the food I eat. In October I starting tracking my meals on SP. It was a big eye opener. I always thought I did pretty well in that department. I would like to make more "like minded" friends in my area. It would be fun to have someone to do more active things with.

My Goals:
FITNESS GOALS
1) 900 fitness minutes per month. 45 min 5 days each week.
2) Continue to add harder dvds to the dvds I already enjoy doing.
3) Weigh myself once a month.

DIET GOALS
1)Eat small breakfast daily.
2)Eat veggies 2x/ day.
3)Eat fruit 1x/day.
4)Eat at home 6x/wk.
5) Work on having easy ready to fix suppers on hand.
6) Drink more water.
7) Work on not wasting any food.
8) Work on smart snacking.
9) Work on staying in my calorie range.
10) Work on portion control.

CLOTHING GOAL
1) Get into a size 4. Currently size 6.
2) Shop for clothes I love more regularly.




My Program:
I workout in the morning for 45 min 6 days a week. I'm adding 15-30 min of harder workouts to the workouts I enjoy.

My favorite workouts are with Leslie Sansone. I also enjoy kettlebell workouts, pilates, and kickboxing.

DVDs are my no excuse workout. I look for the ones that are fun and challenging.

I'm working on staying in my calorie range each day. I use the SP food tracker. I've been mindful of fiber and protein that my diet has been lacking. I am trying to select healthier meals while dining out. Snacking tends to be a problem for me that I'm also working on.




Personal Information:
I enjoy biking, walking in our town, hiking, traveling in my 5th wheel, boating, reading, movies, historic siteseeing, going to community events, and learning to cook.

thank you so much for your comment on my sparkpage. It really made my day. I had been extremely faithful to my workout regimen and then I injured my back (I have no idea how.) and I was totally out of commission until today. I am back though... Again, thank you for your kind words. It's not an easy journey but SO worth the work! Have a great day... and by the way... your RV is amazing!!!!

You are not kidding about winter. We are all so sick of it. I am a realtor here in Milwaukee and my buyers are just itching to get out, but it has been so cold they keep putting it off.

Thanks for your comment on my Sparkpage! I love being outside, and those park pics are so much more motivational to me than pics of supermodels...I already know I'll never look like that, so why strive for it?!
