My Goals:
I need to stick to my calorie range. The working out isn't the problem, it's keeping myself from snacking. I have a sweet tooth and that is always a challenge.

I have strayed from strength training and need to set up a program for at least 2 days a week. I also have gotten back into doing an hour a week of yoga and strive to stick with it.

I also need to tune up my bike because fall is perfect bike riding weather.

My Program:
Currently I am doing crosstraining 3 times a week:
I do intervals on the treadmill usually walking at 4.2, then 2 mins running at 6.6, then 1 min walk. Repeat for 1 mile.
Then I switch to the elliptical and do a mile of hills at level 15.
Then I do 3 miles of hills on the recumbent bike at level 15.
I have been doing two days per week of spinning in a class at my gym. I got a new kid's yoga DVD and my daughter and I are getting a kick out of that.
On the weekend I try to do something fun for exercise, like bike riding, hiking, or yoga.

Personal Information:
I live in Sacramento, CA, USA. I have been married to a great guy for 8 years, and we have a beautiful 4 y.o. daughter. I work as a financial analyst for the State of CA.

Other Information:
I am in my mid-30's, and 5'10" tall. I love movies, music, surfing the Net. I also hike, play disc golf, regular golf, swim, do yoga, spin class and outdoor bicycling. When I bike I pull another 50 lbs behind me (daughter in a trailer) so it is quite a workout!

I have read your page... you are an inspiration to me. I currently weigh 244 lbs and I am also 5'10". I would like to know how you got started. I am trying to get to the gym and just on some sort of machine. I want to be able to run on a treadmill and maybe take a class or two but right now I just feel like a fat lump. any suggestions?
