Thanks for adding me as a friend. I just read your information at the top of your page and we actually have a lot in common. I was an art teacher for four years and then got laid off. I went back to school and got a masters degree in special ed and was then hired back by my district as the teacher for the severely emotionally disturbed primary classroom. I also gained 30 lbs while I was doing that job. After three years, the district combined the primary and intermediate SED classrooms and I was transferred to a regular special ed classroom. I couldn't believe what a difference it made to my stress level. I have since lost that extra weight. I hope you find some ways to cut your stress. It's not easy, but it is so important.
