& away we go....

I'm 27, I live in NYC with my boyfriend (soon to be fiance) and our four cats, as well as my grandmother. I work at a non-profit and spend all of my days in Excel and Salesforce. :) My diet is about 98% vegan, and I love cooking! I really want to lose about 45 pounds in the next 6-8 months and keep it off. I've been on this journey for a while and have had ups and downs, and I can't wait to feel like I'm on the right track again! My biggest struggles are binge/lazy/"I don't need to care about ...

My biggest struggles are binge/lazy/"I don't need to care about it right now" eating, and finding time to be active. I'm looking for support and to be supportive, so please be in touch!!

I read your post about dealing with others who love you offering food that one shouldn't eat. While not personally relevant to me, as I live alone, I thought it was a wonderful and wise post. I nominated you for a motivation award. Good luck to you.

You can look at a mountain as a wild place of beauty to view or paint or photograph from a safe distance; or a wild place capable of destruction like Mount St. Helens. Or you can look at it as a wild challenge that you take on one step at a time. When you begin the challenge you'll have no idea how long it will take to get to the top, but you know you will with the support of your team.

At the Weekly Challenge(s) Team, we'll help you climb that mountain. You'll find us on the rocky slopes, the shady valleys, the wild flower meadows, the glacier lakes. New Challenges are starting every Sunday.

I'll be watching for your posts at the Weekly Challenge Team.

Thanks for your comment and the birthday wishes that you left on my blog. It is funny how everyone's path is so different.
