I have lost hundreds and hundreds and hundreds AND hundreds of pounds in my lifetime as a yo yo dieter.

Having lost over 50 pounds and re-gained again, April 28, 2014 is the date I began my last loss. October 23, 2014 is the date I returned to my goal weight after having to re-lose 31 lbs. It's the date I consider the start of my maintenance.

ACTION IS KING.

Thank you for the good suggestion about Beck. I read her book back when I first started this journey on sp and lost the weight. Time to get it from the library again.

Thank you for your help - truly appreciated. I, too, have to have lower carbs and higher protein. It is the only way for me to maintain plus I feel so much better. What I have going for me is that I have always eaten rather healthy...but then can go off for quite a while eating large portions, little fruits, and start in on the snacking. I haven't technically left maintenace (I think it is a 10% thing), so in maintenance over 2 years, but I want to now stay below 135 and not swing into the slow but steady upward gain. I think I was overly confident, so sure I had this down; good lesson to stay aware.

emoticon for your wonderful reminders...what would I do without you???? And SLENDERELLA 61 and so many...you REMIND me to credit myself...all I ever remember to do is credit myself for eating right and yesterday I was too brain-dead to do that!
