Wrote this the other day thought it fit for the moment.

I am trying.
I am showing up for the party.
I know I can do this because I HAVE done this.
I know this takes work.
I know this takes hard headed determination.
I know this takes sacrificing the foods I LOVE for ones that love me.

Jan 22, 2010 Starting weight 414

My name is Sandy. I am married. I work as a pharmacy tech and I am on my feet constantly. Unfortunately, my schedule is all over the place and I can not regulate my meal and exercise times.

I have always been over weight. I have been healthy, or as healthy as a fat person can be. No health issues that I know of but my body is sure letting me know as I get older that it's TIRED of carrying this fat around. My feet are going to give out on me one day soon if I don't finally get this off. My body has become stiff, probably with the onset of arthritis from my fat breaking it down.

I just want to feel good. I want to look good. I know that once I lose this weight I will have sag and bag but I want to know what it would feel like on my chest to take a breath that isn't labored. TO have it flow in and out of me easily. To walk up stairs and not huff. To jump into a pickup truck and not have to pull myself up with all my might into the cab because it sits too high off the ground.

Ive come a long way but I still have a long way to go. I've got to "pick my hard."

Add me as a pal, shoot me a message, ask me ANYTHING and if I know I'll get back with ya. Im on social media sites too so if you got this far and need a buddy hit me up!

Here is a New Daily Mantra!! Post it Where you Can see it....

Pound by pound, inch by inch, choice by choice We will become healthy and fit!
We struggle, but we grow. We fall, We will get up. Even amid adversity, We keep moving towards our goal weight.
Today our portion size is shrinking and so is our waistlines.
Today we are beautiful, We are fit, We are healthy; and more so every day!
Today We are making the right choices and the right changes to have the body We want!

Thank you for stopping by my page, I too enjoy the dialogue exchange on here.

I did read that part and I understand the eyebrow raising to asking for money. Since there is no tone in text I feel obliged to say that my intent was not to slam you. Nobody deserves to be murdered, even if their lifestyle was less then savory. I was just expressing my opinion that unless we know exactly the situation someone is in (which we don't know everyones story but our own) then we shouldn't be so quick to pass judgement.

If one or two people are shady in a group, the entire group shouldn't be judged. Now if there was proof that there was money hidden...then by all means yeah asking for money is wrong. But we don't know anything really except what the media tells us and hear say. The people contributing may or may not feel obliged to contribute...we don't really know anybody elses reasoning...if you think about it.

I feel that we should be able to express ourselves on our blogs and pages however we see fit. I just like you, was expressing my opinion on the subject. Not everybody who receives public assistance, whether it be in the form of Medicaid or food stamps, is corrupting the system...a couple of bad apples doesn't really ruin the tree. But again the media is going to show us what we want to see...scandals and violence, because sadly that is how this world has evolved to.

I was saddened to see that you have no hope for the children who survived. But again there is no tone in text and I could be reading that completely wrong. I would be more then happy to discuss this with you...because you never know what you will learn from a stranger emoticon .

I hope you have a lovely evening and I'm sorry your area was affected in such a negative light.
