One day

I have never been athletic and am pretty much terrified of new things. The same old routine is so easy and comforting. But years of unhealthy eating and a sedentary life style have caught up with me and it has time for a change. About 12 hours of my day is eaten up by work and commuting. Then there is taking care of my family (who are not on board with changing our eating habits). I need to feel less guilty about wanting to do stuff for myself. But years of unhealthy eating and a sedentary life style have caught up with me and it has time for a change. About 12 hours of my day is eaten up by work and commuting. Then there is taking care of my family (who are not on board with changing our eating habits). I need to feel less guilty about wanting to do stuff for myself. And I need to be less embarrassed about excercising. Ugh! In the past, I have tried to make big changes. The kind that are hard to keep. This time I am making smaller changes. Ones that will be easier to keep. To build better habits one step at a time.
