2013 - a year for change

A husband, two children, three cats and a full time job with a long commute do not leave a lot of time for taking care of me. I have always put myself last and as a result, am not in the best of health. I stress eat, with a craving for crunchy, salty snacks. It is hard to take even 30 minutes to excessive.
Right now, I am setting my goals lower. Loose 10 pounds at a time. Sneak in quick workouts (like during commercials and during breaks at the office). I will try to get up earlier to ...

I have always put myself last and as a result, am not in the best of health. I stress eat, with a craving for crunchy, salty snacks. It is hard to take even 30 minutes to excessive.
Right now, I am setting my goals lower. Loose 10 pounds at a time. Sneak in quick workouts (like during commercials and during breaks at the office). I will try to get up earlier to work out, but my brain rebels at getting up at 4 am. When the weather is nicer, family walks, nightly swims at the pool and outdoor play will help. I will not use being tired as an excuse not to be active with my kids.
I have been on Spark People for a while, but now it is time to get with the program.
