Here And Now

I've been with Sparks for 10 weeks now I have lost 11.6#.

In 2010 I am going to tackle my eating behavior in a big way. That will make losing these last pounds especially challenging. I will have to find a way to deal with the feelings that led me to overeat in the first place.

I live in Northern Wisconsin near Lake Superior. My husband, 4 cats and two dogs and I live in a little piece of Eden.

I am so glad that you have found something that is going to work for you. I have been focusing on eating slower and really paying attention to what is in my mouth - taste and texture. I am eating a lot of the same type of food everyday, but sometimes the taste is just out of this world. For instance, tonight, all the flavors in my salad just seemed to stand out it just reminded me of a carefree summer day (then reality struck and someone opened the front door- ha!)

I'll get a copy of that article to you soon.

2/2/10 - I sent it via spark mail

Thank you for the new jeans, right on time too! I am cleaning closets this weekend and taking away the "too large" items. Time to share the spoils of wt loss with others.
Glad to hear kitty is fine, laughed b/c they always fuss about going into the carrier.
Enjoy the weekend, and hopefully a little sunshine.

Simple pleasures are truly the best. Hot coffee, warm slippers, a good book, birds out the window. I hope you have a warm fuzzy night.
